WHO WE ARE
Pitchfork Farm is a family run market garden on 18 acres in Columbia Station, Ohio. We’ve committed ourselves to growing a vast array of culinary inspired all natural vegetables and herbs at an affordable price- chemical free. It’s our intention to keep this modest overgrown pasture growing forever, take care of our animals, and most importantly respect the soil.
WHAT IS A CSA MEMBERSHIP
CSA stands for “community supported agriculture”. It’s a handshake between a farmer and a consumer. The consumer agrees to pay a specific price for a portion of the harvest thru out the growing season and the farmer commits to growing and delivering it. The consumer invests in the potential harvest prior to the growing season, which helps the farmer grow more efficiently and ultimately keep costs down. This also allows “farm members” to request specific produce to be grown. Members will receive a portion of “what’s ready” on a weekly basis at a specific drop off spot thru out the growing season.
